Acting on behalf of long retained Client, Medstrom, Matthew Liggins of Musson Liggins has concluded the acquisition of a unit on Hawthorn Road off Trent Lane in Castle Donington of just under 25,000ft². Medstrom is a leading supplier of specialist hospital beds and bed management services to the NHS. Tim Gilbertson of FHP acted on behalf of the Landlord, Pullan’s of Yorkshire.

This latest transaction in Castle Donington sees more success in this always sought after location which benefits from excellent transport links to the M1, East Midlands Airport and the East Midlands main cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

This detached warehouse set on a good sized site created substantial interest from the off and a deal was quickly agreed between Matthew and Tim.

Musson Liggins acting jointly with Savills have secured new owners for Abbott Hall Hotel in Cumbria and Lindors Country House Hotel in Gloucestershire. Acting on behalf of Christian Guild Hotels, a sale was achieved to Carlauren Group for a figure in excess of the £2.9 million guide.

Musson Liggins acting on behalf of Woodward Veterinary Practice as property consultants have assisted with the acquisition of land and the development of a ‘STATE OF THE ART’ facility now open at Ivanhoe Business Park, Smisby Road, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 2UZ.

The veterinary surgery includes 5 consulting rooms, a large reception and waiting area and substantial car parking.

It had a been an ambition for many years to move the established practice into purpose built premises with modern facilities for patients, clients and staff, providing improved access and parking whilst remaining as an independent business.

Musson Liggins acquired the land and provided monitoring throughout the project development.

The development completed in early 2017.
